have a seat...wait, you can't.
while driving today, i noticed a free couch on the side of the road. It was a white sectional, and appeared to be in decent condition. except for one crucial element. it had no bottom cushions. i realize it's free and the owner probably just wanted it out of their house and hoped someone would take it away and use it for parts (couch parts?) or as an essential piece of a fraternity lounge. but really, who is going to take the time to haul away a free couch from the side of the road with no bottom cushions?
"man, i have these couch cushions sitting around. they're so white and fluffly. i just wish i had somewhere to PUT them...oh HAI, there's a couch that would go just PERFECTLY with my cushions. and it's FREE! and it's just right here on the side of the road! i don't even have to go inside a STORE to get it. it's shopping al fresco!"
and i probably look like a fool right now because i'm sure someone has already snatched up that cushionless couch and is now busy handsewing beautiful silkscreened cushions for it.
