I love going on Livejournal and seeing people posting long posts about their current life and situations. I really should try to use my journal more for this. So much happens in a day sometimes, and I think it would be a good way to vent and I would think it would be very therapeutic.
With that said, I do have an announcement to make. And I don't mind saying it here because I know not that many people watch me... and of the people that watch me only one I interact with on a daily bases and she already knows.
Gabriel is gonna be a big brother. :)
Both Errol and I are super excited. I'm just around 6 weeks right now, so it's still very early, but it's really hard to keep this news in. We're doing our best to just tell close friends and family right now in case something should happen and we lose the baby... But so far everything has been fine.
I am nervous about telling Errol's mother though... she tends to be the kind that will lecture... and I'm not sure how she will feel about this because we aren't technically married yet. We're engaged and our Wedding date is August 21st, but she's the type that wants to have everything done in the order it's supposed to be.
And I guess I do see her point... right now I'm following the same trend of my last marriage. But I have so much more confidence in this marriage as Errol isn't a stranger. Yes, we've only been dating a year but I knew him in highschool. There is so much more to our relationship than just being girlfriend and boyfriend. I can honestly say that I will be marrying my best friend and it's the best feeling in the world.
Anyway, back on task. Today has been okay. Gabriel started running a slight fever tonight... and I'm hoping that he gets over it quick. We were just all sick this last weekend and I know that there is a bad flu going around. Normally I never worry about me getting sick, but I know at this early stage of my pregnancy it's really bad to get a fever.
Me and my mom went out today to Toys R Us just to get out of the house for a bit. The weather has been so nice and it was just so sunny that we couldn't stand just sitting in the house... so we went and got Gabriel a pair of boots (not really snow boots and not really rain boots if that makes sense) and we're hoping to go to the zoo tomorrow if Gabriel is feeling better.
And Errol is right now working... and won't get off work till 11:00... *sad*.
