i have to say i think ephebophiles are better than pedophiles to a certain extent because they at least are interested in something.. developed? developing..? and someone that *usually* has the ability to make their own decisions, and even if they're bad ones, still can understand ways to cope with it. i don't think children are stupid, and it amazes me how smart 7 year olds can be but i still count them as helpless little creatures and no matter how smart they. i have no idea how to explain things i hope you get what i mean sort at least. im not trying to defend these people just i think theres a difference.
i think it is disturbing too but i think its kind of controversial to say what age you are ready to have sex. i personally believe its up to the individual, but i am NOT happy or supportive of 13 years old getting it on, even if it was another 13 year olds. but i also understand that hormones/puberty plays a big part in it, and the earlier you mature the earlier i just assume the earlier you're bond to have sex, be it animal or human.
but.. i think relationships where a 28 year old is dating a 16 year old needs to be HEAVILY monitored. like.. no freedom without supervision ahaha. i wouldn't allow it either. makes you wonder what kind of person that is and why they want a 16 year old. i personally wouldn't think its a 'committed' relationship and the older person just wants a fling. wouldn't fly with me. but then again some people just don't get along with people their age because of their interests such as movies, tv, hobbies. when im 30 im going to still love cartoons and anime and stuff.
Yeah when I hear of somebody raping a 7 year old I think that's just way out of line. It's even worst when you hear about somebody doing it to a three year old.
