ice!
okays im not sure why im updating in livejournal. actually i wasnt really sure where to update at all. it seems a bit excessive to post twice on xanga during the same month, not to mention the same week. but i wanted to document the day before i did anything, because i never got to things i wanted to remember like the whole ice galore. i just wanna remember the fun days, i suppose. the awesome people. my other entries here have been too serious/intense/unfun. and i decided thats just not what life is ALL about.
sooo. my first time ice skating. tiff and i became pros! or so we kept telling everyone, when in fact for most of the time we kept close to the wall. at least we managed to cover some distance without just a bit of help towards the end - much better than in the beginning when i fell and pulled olivia down with me. oops. well it was really fun. kind of scary in the beginning, but its nice just to actually know how to get somewhere without clinging onto the wall for dear life. ive almost got the hang on moving, but i need to figure out the whole accelerating/decelerating thing. oh wells. next time!
dinner at outback was great and very filling. mel's sex on the beach tasted quite good; i had a sip. and i actually finished my grilled bbq chicken! except for the wing. im never sure how to eat those, especially with a fork and knife. hmm. one of the highlights of the meal was listening to mary call her dad for birth control pills - IASAS is coming up next week. its a wonder we didnt catch anyone staring at us at any point of the dinner.
we took the bus back to tien mu for haagen-daz ice cream, and i got to chat with felice during the ride. and elaine, while we were walking up to the shop. i love talking to them. theyre really real. lol. mary too. you cant find these girls anywhere else. theyre precious. it was nice too just to get the chance to chat with kids i dont usually talk to, like steph wang, christine jeng, tiff, stacy, olivia...it totally fullfills the whole senior wandering thing.
