We are having a blizzard. The airport, highways and most side roads are closed and the governor has asked for a disaster declaration. I've been watching the snow creep up towards the top of the picnic table. My dad and brother are scheduled to fly in on Friday night. It should stop snowing by tomorrow afternoon and we can start digging out. I, however, have put off the shopping till the last possible moment, so now I will have to brave the cold white outdoors assuming that things open back up on Friday.
We went cross-country skiing up in the mountains on Sat. and I was hoping for some snow so we could ski here (where it is much easier to breathe that at 10,000+ feet above sea level). I think I should have been more specific about the amount of snow needed for this activity. :-)
