I totally forgot to tell you about my awesome friday.
so dinner at quiznos was great - adventure with alex's make up thing she left here forever ago! (st patricks day - the pole boy encounter ... grrreat stuff.)
anyways
lauren and meghan came to dinner and decided that they spontaneously wanted to go to South Haven - the beach about a half hour away. So, we did. It was great. Nicole, Abby, Meghan, Lauren, and me. left around 9-10 lol, got there - there was a strange gathering of trucks and stuff...we were a little afeared.
anyways, the waves were GINORMOUS! it was sooo cool. i wish it had been warm so we could've gone swimming in them! (made me miss the ocean) so we decided to go out on the pier, even though we could clearly see waves splashing over the breakwall. I wanted go to all the way out, lauren started to come with. but then the waves got bigger and we looked back, and could see that they were splashing over the pier that we had to go back through to get to the beach. so we made a run for it. got sprayed quite a bit. it was pretty fun, but wouldve been more so if it wasnt so FREEZING out!
then we hung out on the beach, but ran to megs trunk to get our blankets. it was cute when we all laid down on the beach, meg was on top of me so i was warmer. (that was not sposed to be dirty) even tho we were laying down, it was so windy that the sand was blowing everywhere (i wonder what it would be like to be in a sandstorm), so we were pretty much covered when we got up. i had sand in my ears. ew. then we went to imprint our names in the sand. (which is not so easy in the dark!!) then we had a little pow-wow on the big bank sand dune - and these stupid prickly things kept stabbing my butt! and legs! through the blanket and jeans ... bastards ...
then we couldn't feel our frozen bodyparts anymore so decided to leave. and went and got mcflurries - HA!
all in all, it was a funtime.
gotta love the random nights out.
