hell week is over
Well this week was the week from hell.... hence the no updation. But now that I have relaxed ...
So Tuesday night was the Michigan vs Western hockey game .... skipped my English class so I could wait out in the cold for three hours - upside was that we were Second in line, and got pretty good seats. Except, the game SUCKED because western somehow forgot how to play hockey. so that was not fun, the company was good tho. HA the best part of the game was when the guys' friends from u of m got kicked out of the student section (cuz they took of their hoodies to sport their bright yellow u of m jerseys, smart move, smart move)
then wednesday i had tons of homework to do, since i did none tuesday.
had a huge bios test to study for, and i don't think i did that great. had a literacy paper to do, a portfolio to organize, a presentation for english on Kivas, an entire lesson/presentation for an hour in 407 (ugh), which i had to get a bunch of books for and print off over a hundred pages of articles, what else ... Oh and two annotated bibs for english< a quiz on a book i forgot to read
OMG insert anecdote here: I just spent ten damn minutes fixing my stupid shift button!! so it took me forever to pry the stupid button off (cuz it was stuck and all the letters were caps so i was like wtf cuz i couldnt do a comma it was the < instead). and then i didnt know what to do, just jabbing and jamming at it didnt do anything, so i had to move the little rubber thingy, and i didn't think it worked, but apparently i did something right. cuz now it works.
ANYWAYS. i don't even feel like finishing describing how horribly thursday went. just know that it sucked. so that when i got home at 7 i went to bed to take a nap, and woke up at 1015 and then went right back to bed til 930.
I wanted to go home this weekend for the february frolic but no one was goin, oh well. hopefully julie will come visit for her winter break :) which is like next week - and then after that, our spring break! YESSS!
OH! And I totally forgot to mention the awesome weekend at home for the SuperBowl - it was great fun hehe, spent time downtown with Alex and CO! great experience, good for the D =)
and PS today I french braided my hair ON my OWN - I was impressed. i never tried before cuz i didn't think i could do it since it's weird braiding my own hair backwards and everything. but i did. and success. worked with the lazy appearance for today.
Totally pumped for the Olympics as well! I also got excited when on NBC or CBS whatever I was watching (the one with the peacock), they were doing previews and stuff to the pirates of the caribbean music, and today to music from life as a house. needless to say, i smiled. and kind of squealed.... yeah. i did. i wish i could be an olympic medalist ... wonder if i ever skiied if i would be good at it ... if i would be gold medal material .... prolly not ... but it's nice to think about. (i don't think i should ever try skiing cuz i will probably get seriously injured.) OMG

SPEAKING of seriously injuring! WOW best story yet - awful, but best:
I just need to warn all my friends ... stay away from knives or any kind of sharp objects! Because first, it was me - cutting my finger with a butter knife and getting three stitches ... THEN it was alex copying off of me, as usual, almost cutting the tip of her finger off but getting eleven stitches. But the prize has to go to Zack, who topped it off, beat us BOTH, and continued the tradition by slicing off the top half of his thumb in a meat slicer. SIIIICK!! Poor boy, but HA - no not really, i feel bad, it's a curse i started! so beattie, abby, meghan, lauren, all you other friends of mine WATCH OUT! next someone is really losing an entire finger, maybe even a hand ...
