For some of you this might not make any sense.
Let's go back to the days of Noah. I guess it just really became apparent how the days of Noah are really the same as right now. Because...Noah spent 120 years building that ark. Nobody even knew what a boat was...because it had never rained..ever. and his three sons...also helped him. But they did not see why...they didn't see the vision. they just followed Noah. and as a result....most likely got ridiculed by their friends. they all did. This is a scenario of what might have happened:
friend: what are you doing?
son: ..building the ark..
friend: ...why?! what's an ark?
son: uh..a boat. my dad says its going to rain.
friend: ..rain!? it hasn't ever rained...we don't even know what rain is! where did he get this..*vision* from?
son: um. from..God..?
friend: God? but why just him? what about all the other people who believe in God? they're good people. how come they're not building this ark? how come they didn't see this vision?
and so on and so on...to me, this was such a picture. because that's exactly how we are. or i was. you know? you grow up in this environment...going to the meetings cuz that's what your parents do. but as you get older...people start asking why you go to meetings so much, why you don't have a pastor, why your church is simply called the church in phoenix, why your church has no fancy/extravagant traditions...all this stuff. and..in my experience...i was kinda like...wait...why are we different? it makes you think about it....but noah, his sons and all their wifes are the only ones who were in the ark and got saved from the flood. Noah's sons didn't understand or see the vision. but they just kept on building the ark. if we don't see the vision...we need to follow our Noah...and just keep on building the ark. go to the "ark" meetings. aka...go to the mtgs. A brother brought it up that he was at some point..wondering why we go to all the mtgs. because..uh..its enjoyable? is that it? no! its because we are buidling the ark! when we go to the meetings...we're putting on another wood panel..we're building the ark! and in noah's time...they didn't understand the word "rain" because they had never seen rain. and that's just like now....nobody really understands eternity...but we do. we have the vision of eternity.
A: hey...what are you doin here??
B : *pauses* ...someone told me it was going to rain.
It is going to rain! We need to follow this vision of eternity...don't stop going to the meetings! Dont' stop building the ark!
This really touched me and I really enjoyed it even though I'm not super spiritual, I admit it. I wish I could share this with the world. It answers so many questions. Wow, like WOW! Something just totally CLICKED.
What if there isn't enough time to go to the FTTL? I mean what if He comes back before I can go? I have a sudden urge to serve the Lord, to share this with the world. What if I never fufill the purpose I was intended to fufill?
I mean ppl have this definition of christianity, and it just upsets me. Like the whole "if your good you'll go to heaven thing," I mean if that were true, then in the garden of eden, why would they call one tree the tree of good and evil?! GOOD AND EVIL. They both belong to the SAME tree. Take a second, and actually ponder that.

I'm sick, and haven't been able to do anything this weekend, except go to the basha vs. hamilton game. I think I go back to sleep cuz these non-drowsy pills always seem to make me super drowsy..but that's okay.
