There's a girl in my photo class who's carrying around a birthday cake. It's taking rather a lot of effort to not make a Portal joke ("That cake looks great, I bet it's so delicious and moist.") Also, this is the one day that I really probably should have brought my camera. Oops. (Come to think of it, wasn't Sammi carrying around a cake yesterday, too?)

I'm a little cheesed that I finally got started on my persuasive essay - the one that will be turned into a speech for the PBL - and Ms Padilla insisted on collecting it at the end of the block. I mean, I'd only just started the second paragraph! I'm still figuring out what I want to say in the thing! I really probably should have expected it, because if she gives us class time to work on essays, she usually only gives us class time to work on them, but still. It's a little annoying. But at least I still have all my research... online, anyway, and on Arata, so even though I'll have to rewrite the introduction, I think I can still pull it off. (Except that I probably ought to write the outline, instead, so that I actually have something turned into Mrs Lake, oops.)

Um... my brother's N64 came in the mail yesterday! Along with fourteen of the fifteen games he'd bought. So he's got four Star Wars games, Mario Kart 64 and Super Mario Kart 64, Pokemon Snap, Mission Impossible, Goldeneye... and some other ones. (The South Park one, for instance. It kind of sucks.) I didn't realize just how hard Pokemon Snap is! D: I mean, if the camera went up when you moved the control stick up, instead of going down, it would be a lot easier...

Oh, and the twins' party is tomorrow. I'm a little worried that I won't have their gift in time... but then, there's still today and tomorrow for it to come, since the party isn't until three.

Twitter is blocked on the school computer. It's kind of annoying, because I can't see if I'm following my brother's twitter or if he's following mine.

Off to find more info for PBL project now, since I'm not going to do photo work and actually kind of need some more info, oops.

edit: Firstly, I didn't realize there were so many things that came from the space program that we use now! *____* And secondly, I forgot that I actually said that we ventured into the 'star ocean' in the intro of my essay. I'm displeased with myself: I mean, I thought that line was so freaking cheesy in the intro of First Departure, and here I am, using it myself! D:

photo, the cake is a lie, project based learning project, nintendo!
