I'm in a really strange, happy kind of mood. It's really weird. It's also probably because I spent the last hour or so reading Arina Tanemura manga. ^_^;

Anyway, so I'm really only here because I have homework to do: an essay this time, about how a figure from real life or literature defined his or character during a crisis. I was a dork and was reading Boogiepop At Dawn at the time, so I picked Nagi. xD At least I only have to write a page. Still... one page, typed and presumably double-spaced? I'm not sure that's enough room. Part of me thinks I don't have all that much to say, but considering how much I can do when I really get going, I think I have more to say than a page. Oh, well: if I managed to fit a long, rambling description of tyranny wherein a tyrant is told that he will lose his empire by a certain blue-clad necromancer and then gets so paranoid that he has people wearing that particular shade of blue executed in one page, surely I can do this.

Um... speaking of saying a lot, I had rather a lot to say here, but I think I forgot about half of it on the drive out. ): Oh well.

Oh! I've been to the bookstore twice in the last two days... Yesterday, I picked up Wicked Lovely, the second Code Geass novel, the first .hack//G.U. novel, and volume 10 of CLAMP no Kiseki. (Yes! I remembered the name!) It was really hard to choose which volume of CLAMP no Kiseki to buy, though! (In case you're wondering, CLAMP no Kiseki is the books that have the chess pieces with them. (Shouldn't I be able to describe them better?) They highlight CLAMP's works. They're really cool.) Borders only had volumes ten, eleven, and twelve, but I really couldn't choose. I mean, they all looked really cool! And the chess pieces! *___* But finally I picked volume ten because it talked about Legal Drug, and I thought it might have something about why it was on hiatus and maybe when CLAMP would pick it back up. (It said why it was on hiatus, but they don't know when it will continue... well, they didn't in 2005, anyway. That's when that particular volume of CLAMP no Kiseki was printed...) Man, I wish they weren't so expensive. They're $20 each! ;____; Well, considering what they are, that's not very expensive, I guess... but it's still beyond my budget. Still! I've only been staring at them longingly ever since I saw them on the shelves behind the checkout counter at Borders for... man, I can't even remember how long. It's been years. And finally I've started buying them! :D (The chess pieces are just plastic, though. It's a little disappointing.) (What were you expecting?) Oh, and I also bought Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Volume Two: The Miles Edgeworth Files. (:

Then, today, since I finished reading everything I bought yesterday, we went to Barnes and Noble's. (You really read all that, that fast?) (But they were just so good! D: ) There, I got volume 2 of Fairy Tail, volumes 1 and 2 of Time Stranger Kyoko (the aforementioned Arina Tanemura manga), Ink Exchange and... snaps, I forgot what the third one was called. Oops. ): But I got that, and also one other book... that I also forgot the name of. D:! Well, it was another one of those supernatural-fantasy types of books that I seem to be so into right now. It looked good, anyway. Which reminds me... It seems like all I'm reading right now is things with fantasy or supernatural elements! Boogiepop is supernatural, all that Diane Duane and Diana Wynne Jones is definitely fantasy, fairies and vampires and magic and... it's like I can't read anything realistic. (Well, they are realistic... except for the unrealistic parts.) Even the books my mom bought have some kind of fantasy element to them: she got the entire Southern Vampire series. You know, the ones that the show True Blood is based on? Those. We read the first one (borrowed it from my brother's girlfriend, actually) and it was pretty good. But that's what I mean! Can't I read anything that doesn't have any kind of fantasy or supernatural element to it? (Do you even want to?)

Ugh... anyway. I need to start my essay now. ^_^; And, um, put Folie a Deux on Megaera... since I just kind of ripped it into iTunes in MP3 format. xD; But first! Essay! (Oh, we can't do it without some music to put us in the mood, can we?) (Of course you can. You've... Have I ever written an essay outside of school without listening to music?)

Oh, but one last thing: I've found that my brother also uses Twitter. He told me to add him. .___.;
