Writer's Block: Independence Days

Both are pretty colors. I mean, the last fireworks show I saw was actually at Disneyland, and it was after Christmas, but still. It was pretty. And I've never seen an ugly kite (though that certainly doesn't mean they don't exist, I could probably make one if I gave it half a second of thought) but I'm going to assume, just for the sake of this question, that pretty, brightly colored clothing = pretty, brightly colored kites.

Besides, it's not like you can't kill someone with a kite. I'd imagine the string could do a nice job of strangling someone.
