wednesday was the Tyler Hilton concert with Leah & Sami. I have to say, it was absolutely amazing. Tyler Hilton is so gorgeous!! we were like, 5 rows from the stage. First they both came over to my house & we made our awesome t-shirts, which looked great. then Kevin drove us to my dad & he took us to dinner at McDonald's, then downtown chicago to the House of Blues. Afterwards, he took us to Steak & Shake for some shakes, which were really good. i had so much fun with you, girls!
Last night I talked to Sami on the phone for a while, which was really nice, since there was such a good topic being discussed!
It's been kindof a tough weekend between me & my dad. It's basically all worked out now.. still a little tension, but i think it'll all be okay. we got into two huge fights. after the second one last night, i went into my room crying to call my mom, and he came in & yelled at me to get off the phone. i was like "i'm talking to mom, get out!" and he's like "i don't care who you're talking to. it's MY weekend with you kids, & I said get off the phone!" so my mom was like "honey, just hang up and i'll call you back in a few minutes." it was pretty upsetting. i talked to her later that night and i told her i couldn't wait until Tuesday morning to come home, but she just said to try to get some sleep. Although those weren't exactly the words i wanted to hear at the time, it really made me feel good to talk to her. it also made me realize how much i love my mom.. & for anyone reading this that thinks their parents are way harsh, or think that their parents don't care about them all the time.. they really do, guys. your parents only want the best for you, but they're parents, so it's their job to set groundrules and punish you when appropriate. Just listen to them.. you'll be greatful in the future that you did.
i also talked to connor until real late the past two nights. i'm really glad too, because i was pretty upset those nights. talking to connor always makes me feel better & i really am lucky to have someone that i can talk to whenever i need to, and who will really help me work out my problems & talk me through them. connor, thank you for always being here for me, i love you.
