Prom 2006
Most of the weekend was centered around Prom. On Friday night, I stayed at the country club until around 1:30 decorating and setting everything up for prom. ELizabeth and I went to Wal*Mart to buy somemulch to cover up the ugliness of the "fake grass."
Saturday was packed. I woke up between 7 and 8. I had to drop a black cd over @ Scotty's in order to get some clean editions of the rap songs to be played at prom. The DJ, who ended up not even doing his job, refused to play songs with curse words. I went and got my blazer cleaned @ 7, and chilled @ Mom's until around lunchtime. I went to Dad's and showered and got dressed. I picked up Karie's corsage before I went to her house. After the bajillion pics were taken by her family, we went to Mom's, where she took 4, lol. We meet up with JB, Kendra, Chad, and his date Kimberly @ the IGA around 5. 5 at a time, Chad. LoL. We all drove to the Olive Garden in Winston. Because of the hour-long waiting time, we went over to TGIFriday's. It was still good. We arrived @ Prom around 7:45 and got our pics taken. Overall, I had a fun time. The fact that the DJ didn't play half my shit pissed me off. I spent 4 fucking days on all of that, and he didn't even play it. I found it funny that he thanked me over the mic system during prom for all the music. Believe me, I wouldn't play some of the hideous shit he did. Dancing was fun, or what little moves I conjured up, which was mostly 1,2 stepping. After Prom, we all met up @ Wesley's for breakfast. I had to drop karie off @ 2, so we didn't get to eat. I went home around 2:15ish.
Today I slepted 'til around 2. I went into work @ 5. I now get to work 5 days a week since tennis and prom is over. Now I will be back to making real money.
