So as many of you may have heard, John Holohan, the drummer from Bayside, died this morning in an a terrible accident. The band was driving through WY and hit a patch of ice and flipped over their van and trailer. Their bass player, Nick, who i got to meet and talk with about a month ago when they in town with the Avalanche, was also seriously injured.
I cant even describe how sad i am for them and their families. Bayside is an AMAZING band and everything was going so good for them, with their brand new album and what not. They deserve the best...its horrible this happened.
For all my friends in touring bands, pleaaaaaaaase be careful when touring during the winter months!! shit like this has happened with so many bands now, when it could be avoided.
