The latest list of random things I feel you all need to know
1. My cousin died on monday. She was 26 and brilliant, harvard when she was 16, on her way to becoming a latin teacher. She was the cousin I was closest too, very cool, very supportive, very encouraging.
2. Yesterday I started off the morning with a bang of tripping over a threshold then turning around and banging my nose in the door, then ripping out my bottom retainer bar, then banging my lip into the bottom of the pool. I have gifts.
3. Oh yeah, and I think I'm sunburnt.
4. On the plus side, my pink eye is clearing up. Yeah, pink eye. Again. I hate my eyes.
5. Camp is going well, very fun, lots of good people, only a couple kids I'd rather not be stuck on a desert island with. Everyone here is already feeling very bonded, I think that the dance party at the camp ground on saturday night helped that.
6. I love it here but I'm soooooo going to Holly's cabin on friday night. Dude, can't pass that up.
7. I'm going to be working with the youngest kids this session, that means going to bed a half hour early (score!) and lots of fun with my co-counselors. They are nice girls, it'll be cool.
8. If there is a workout that can be done while being at camp we're trying to do one everyday, like sprinting everywhere to find a missing kid (who I punched and tackled for hiding in this heat) and doing manual labor and having swim tests where we tread water for 5 minutes. It was all dandy and fun.
9. I'm hungry, I'm going to find breakfast. Peace!
