Today seems a bit unlucky.
Friday the 13th does seem to be terribly unlucky, at least to such a superstitious lot as us film/theatre geeks. We've had all sorts of issues with the set and the equipment today--so much that we called it quits early and went out to dinner.
Everybody seemed to need a break as well, so it was nice to not keep working until midnight like we had planned.
We're in France now, and I'm sitting at a cafè with my laptop, enjoying the musicians playing and watching the people go by. I think I'm falling in love with Europe again. Everything has such an old familiar feel to it here.
Sunday we're wrapping here and heading to the UK to shoot in a few different places. Saturday next we leave for home, and we'll be filming there for two weeks.
I suppose it goes without saying, I'm looking forward to coming home again. I miss you, Basch.
Edit: Suspicion confirmed. I now have another bruise on my face.
