as i was talking to justine just now, i've realized the embarrassment that has come along with my LJ username. and i would like to explain myself.
the clash is one of my favourite bands, and is my camp name.
at miniyowe we have a tradition of naming all of our new councelors based on a story or an event or personality trait- and that was the name given to me.:)
now. when i first got it i felt that i needed to change up the spelling for some reason.
and yes, the most creative i got at age 16 was to change the "c" to a "k". so that was how i spelled my camp name for a while, although it never really caught on with my campers. they just call me "clashy" anyways.
when i first got LJ, that was the first thing that came into my head- was to put my camp name. i didnt want people to think that i was just like "yeeaaa band name". so i spelled it my "original" way.
however now it just looks like im a dumbass trying to make the clash into one of those "LOLZ- trendy" names with a K and not a C.
glad i got that off my chest.
