There were a lot of things to be done - more then usual, and half of them she didn't want to do. Walking around the small kitchen she continued to glance out the back door toward the top of the Mountain. Looking up, she started to laugh when she saw the two of them - she waited until they had finished the song and the blush in her cheeks had died down before she walked to them. She hugged Dog first and then bent down to stroke Corwin's back happily.

"Oh, thank you, you two! This is the sweetest gift! You two sing beautifully!"

"You're welcome Katsumi. It's not every day one gets to attend a deathday party," Corwin woofed out, his tail wagging happily. Oh, he was going to miss the pettings. Soon, he would have to change back, but not today.

"Yes, thank you Katsumi. I wasn't sure how well our voices would be for this occasion," Dog blurted out, still blushing from the hug.

Kneeling down next to Corwin, she started rubbing his tummy, the Jack Russel always delighted her to no end - and to think there was a human soul in the body made her actually laugh out loud. Tilting her head up she smiled at Dog.

"Oh, it was very beautiful, you are the first to sing to me! What a very wonderful treat. How have you been Dog, Corwin?"

Simply put? Doggy Heaven!

Corwin's front paws twitched and spazzed, while he happily let Dog do all the talking this time.

"Oh, we've been on many little adventures. I even got to juggle. And Corwin here met a certain Pomeranian named Fifi. He was rather out of sorts when her owners carted her off and away from his hideout ," Dog smiled.

"We even met Hermes!"

"Oh?! Did Corwin find love with Fifi?" She chuckled as her nails continued to scratch Corwin's belly as she looking up listening to Dog.

"Oh yes! I have met Hermes, he's one of the nicest Gods I have met, what did you do with him?"

As they talked, Corwin became playful, trying to trap Katsumi's hand between his paws.

"Well, after I explained to him that after he changed back, their love could not be, he calmed down."

Not to mention, maybe just maybe, Dog was a little jealous, thinking Fifi should be his.

(ooc- I am so making up Fifi as I go along! *G*)

She played along with him, jerking her hand back as her fingers sneaked a tummy scratch or maybe one on his hind quarter.

"Ah, yes, that might be a little hard given his human state and Fifi being a dog. Was she heart broken?"

Aha! Got her hand!

Dog drops down to knee level and covers Corwin's ears.

"Yes, just a little, but she got what nature intended. And that's ..." He whispered mention of a certain someone who was definitely going to be father to a litter.

Laughing she grabbed at Corwin's jaw, teasing him, before freeing her hand. She got a few teeth marks and scratches but she didn't really care.

"He's going to be a father?!" She looked down at Corwin.

Unawares of their conversation, Corwin played the new hands over ears game quite well with eyes darting between the two.

"Oh yes, I caught that sparkle in her eye just as the owners carted her off. I suspect Corwin will be getting a basketful of pups not too long from now."

Her eyes widened and she laughed suddenly before reaching down and scratching at Corwin's lower back.

"Oh my goodness! How cute! I would like to see them when he gets them!"

"I promise. I just need to one, determine the best way to tell Corwin and two, determine just how out there, these puppies of his are going to be.," Dog chuckled. He wouldn't want to unleash a litter of foolish Pomeranian- Russell mix onto an unsuspecting public.

"What, tell me what?" Dog looked to them both for a moment and then promptly forgot the question.

"I think that would be a good idea, maybe I could help out - there is plenty of space here." Looking down at Corwin, she picked up a ball that Sarge had been playing with and waved it in front of Corwin.

"Would you like to play fetch?"

Back on four paws, Corwin backed up a fair distance, tail wagging with front paws down low, with an expression that said 'Bring it!'.

"I wonder if Grady would like a puppy."

Smiling she waved the ball in front of him before standing up and throwing it far into the line of trees.
