He had been proud of the kill, and she had been proud of him for bringing it too her. There was something sweet and wonderful about him dragging home his kills, he was a provider and she took on her role as home maker and cook when he left her a gift. When he killed the boar, she did not see it - but was happy to reap the benefits of his strength and mushaburi.
The meal was simple, but spicy and delicious, Hot,
Tom Yam Mu Pa (Hot and Spicy Wild Boar soup). She made noodles to go along with it, and then served them up into bowls for both her and the large black cat who was content on chewing on the Boar's leg. Once they were both finished, there was more then enough soup left over, and carefully saved some for when she and Grady got hungry again - though, it was mostly for her, since the cat seemed more then happy to tear off through the forest and hunt for his dinner.
With the rest, she carefully kept it simmering, thinking about what to do with it - before realizing that it might go to better use, to be given away! Fetching more noodles, she set about cooking them, and humming softly to herself as she thought about how thrilled she was to give something back to her friends and show off her lovers skill all at the same time.
Authors note: So this is kind of an rp thread to whoever wants it, or just say "gimmie soup" and she will. This comes because I am starving and haven't had meat in like - a week *grumbles* stupid fridge! ANYWAY . . . Soups on! And wild boar for everyone. Damnit, I sometimes wish they had more wild boar around Chicago . . .
