(no subject)
The semester has officially begun and I don't think it'll be too bad. Religion looks like it'll be the same as last semester except I have to attend a sacramental event and write like a reflection paper on it. Psych... I dunno. I think it's the same but it's a paper instead of a project. Spanish is the same, as always. Our class this semester only consists of 8 people including myself. That's kinda weird because now we're expected to talk a lot more. Doc Nick has now begun calling me Mandy. I almost made it through four consecutive semesters without him calling me that. The music and art portions of Creative Arts are okay. I'm not thrilled but I'm not horrified either. I made a paper bag puppet for art. It's a lion... but he's a funny looking lion. Inclusion... that has to be the worst class I have this semester. It's too long for my liking and there are people in there that talk the entire time she talks and she'll have a conversation with them in the middle of a lecture and she leaves the rest of us clueless. Thank God Robin is in that class and can keep me sane.
Life hasn't been too bad either. Work is gettin crazy though. Mrs. F's grandson is going to be born on Wednesday and he's a high risk baby. He has heart, lung and kidney problems and there's no guarantee that he'll survive. He's not due until March 11th but they're going to induce her on Wednesday and if that doesn't work, she's gonna have a c-section. I may have to do before school for a few days just to cover for Mrs. F. That's gonna be tough considering my calendar is just about full with babysitting so I'm not gonna have much time as it is.
I do believe I'm getting a new car. It's a rather long story but I'll explain anyway because I'm bored. My Mommom's friend Mary died in October and her son-in-law wants to sell her car now. Three of her kids don't want it but he's still checking with the last one. The car is actually a 1997 Buick Le Sabre Limited. It's an old persons car but it only has like 30,000 miles on it and it's in perfect condition. It's better than what I'm driving now. So he talked to her on Tuesday but he was supposed to get a definite answer from her today. I'll probably hear from him tomorrow or Tuesday. But in the mean time, my Mommom was talkin to my mom (today) and my mom said that it all depends on the price because they were considering another car for me. Why they didn't tell me, I don't know. I don't know what kind of car it is or anything, all that Mommom would tell me (she wasn't supposed to tell me anything) is that it's newer than Mary's car but it has more miles on it. That tells me... nothing. I'd like to know what kind of car it is and be able to CHOOOOOOOOOOSE which one I want, especially if the price is close. So... we'll see. I like the idea of a newer car but I don't even know what it is! I don't know anyone else that's selling a car so it has to be either someone that my parents know or something from my dad's work or whatever. Maybe they'll tell me when we find out what the deal is with Mary's car. All I know, is that I want a new carrrrrrrrr!!
Oh and more good news... I'm goin on vacation this summer with my cousin, my aunt and my uncle. The possibilities right now are Disney or a cruise. I know Bren doesn't wanna go to Disney and they went on a cruise last summer and loved it. My Mommom thinks we'll end up going on the cruise... which would be awesome. Definitely excited for that one!!
My fishies are alive and well. I was gonna go get a few more today but I got lazy and decided to put that off until next weekend. I should probably go change some of the water in the tank now.
