guess wut everyone? i dislocated my knee cap.
i was practicing the kickline stuff in my room on wed., and when i did one of the kicks, my standing leg (left) just kinda...buckled. my knee popped out and i went kerplunk. luckily it popped back in,like, 10 sec later or my situation couldve been worse.
so i went to the er and they gave me a knee immobilizer thingy and told me id only be off my feet for a little over a week.but of course the doctor was wrong.
i went to an orthopedist yesterday and she gave me this other thing (instead of the immobilizer) so i could bend my knee and it wouldnt get stiff. but then she also told me it would be a month,if im lucky, just to walk again. and about 3 months before i can dance. but shes not exactly sure yet, shes just estimating. i still have to go in for the mri next week. i also have to have physical therapy. i start today at 4:00. but im also gonna go and mon and wed so i can have chrissies mom. that way it could be someone i know and not some stranger.
so this really sux. this means im gonna be out for the entire season of kickline, i cant do back alley, i cant do the drama, i cant do the christmas show at mickeys, i cant do boces, and i cant have my sweet 16. it was 2 weeks from today, and i wouldnt have any fun at it. i just be sitting there the whole time doing nothing while everyone else had fun. thats not exactly how i wanna spend my sweet 16. so we're cancelling it. but there is one good thing. the money that was going towards my sweet 16, my mom is gonna give me to help me buy a car. so i have over $5000 now for a car. i should be able to get a pretty good used one.
ill stop complaining now.
