Your eyes. Burned into my memory.
Locked down in my mind. Staring into me,
But without emotion.
My Eyes. Welled up with tears.
The makeup runs, shows them bare.
So much hurt revealed in two eyes.
Tears, divided evenly, as i attempt to cry away
Each thing that reminds me of you.
crying away each memory.
Your mouth. The taste of your kiss.
Burned into my memory.
Everything returns.
The bittersweet goodnight kisses.
Every thing that you ever said to me.
Hanging on every last word.
Surviving on every last kiss.
Your mouth. NOW...
Tight lipped. No talking.
No explanations. No instructions.
...just...gone...*
Me. Mouth opened wide, screaming out for you
At night when it's cold and lonley.
screaming away each memory.
Your arms and hands, strong but gentle.
Your soft touch, burned into my memory.
As your arms engulf me, surround me with yourself.
Hold me close. Hold me tight.
A memory. A feeling of safety, a feeling that no longer comes.
No longer safe, no longer protected by you.
Your hands. Perfect.
Run your fingers through my hair.
Show me just what i mean to you
Your hands and mine. Clasped together as one.
How it's meant to be.
But, you're only a slowly fading memory.
My hands. Hidden within my pockets.
Empty. Nothing to hold.
They search for you. Search for your grasp.
You push me aside. And I'm
pushing away each memory.
My mind.
Being forced to remember more then i'd like to forget.
What went wrong. Whirlwhind of confusion.
Black and white photographs. Add some color, for hope.
Hope that one day, it will all settle down. Just right.
Hope that one day, your eyes will stare back into mine.
Filled with feeling.
Hope that one day, your lips will kiss mine, and you'll
Speak your sweet wisdom to me.
Hope that one day, you'll wrap your arms around me.
Hold me close to you. And you'll protect me.
