I haven't updated in a while because I've been sick and lazy. So I haven't been to school since Feb 25th cuz I've been so ill. :( I honestly felt like I was dying. Went to the doctor, waited many hours, got more medicine. DISGUSTING cough syrup too, I didn't want it, but the doctor insisted I take it. So I'm gonna have a shit load of homework when I go back to school. My moms birthday was yesterday. Her surprise party was last Friday, it went well. She was so shocked. Taste of Chaos was also yesterday. I was sick, not good. It was a great show though. But I wish I had the energy to go in the front, but I was too weak. Got to the venue at 11, after getting lost, hah. Hollywood, Queen-E, Sarah and I went to Wendy's. It kinda tasted funny cuz of the sickness. It was a long walk too. Then Sarah and I found the tour buses and we went on a mission! It was fun. We were playing chicken with the secruity guards, fun, until we got caught/yelled at. We met Buddy and Dave from Senses Fail. They were nice. Dave didn't know what a recorder was, and Rixa tried to teach him, but he just couldn't do it, hah. Dave almost let us put make up on him, but he didn't want the rest of the guys to make fun of him. Buddy was cool. Rixa and her amazing recorder playing totally made them happy. Met Mikey from My Chemical Romance, he's so cute. Saw Branden and his dog Radio. He was taking her around by the buses. But he was on his cell phone, so we didn't bother him. Met some boys who were trying to have a BBQ, but it was a shitty fire. But funny to watch them try.
The show was nice. Got some nice merch. Saw my friend who's now the new Used merch person with Spike. I enjoyed all the bands but Killswitch. After the show I met Frankie from My Chemical Romance, Aaron from Underoath. Aaron was really cool. He was crying because he ate salsa and it went down his wind pipe, and he showed me his tears, aw. It was cool to be in the backstage area, and random band members are walking around. I wasn't very impressed with The Used Nation meet and greet. You were allowed to get autographs from each member, but only 1 picture with 1 member. So obviously I picked Branden. Branden and Jeph seemed to be the only happy ones out of them. Bert didn't talk, Quinn couldn't stop coughing. Oh well. All of them had beer on their table, except Branden, he had juice which was cute. Pfft when I bought merch from the Senses Fail table, the merch guy wasn't very nice. I asked what sizes they had left for one of the shirts and he's like "well whatever it says on the card" and I was like "well I don't have my glasses on, so I can't see the sizes" and he goes "Well then maybe you should have said it in the first place and then I wouldn't have minded telling you".
I have a fever again and it sucks. My Alexisonfire balloons from their show in December are still alive, woot. AMANDA AND LISA<333333333 Sooo lovely to see you gals again. Good times.
