Perhaps why I am not yet is because I keep going online, watching tv and doing other things. A movie about perfume and a murderer was on earlier. The plot featured someone murdering someone else to get the 'perfect scent'. I just finished eating shrimp. I had no more shrimp sauce so I used chilli sauce instead. I'm soo glad I got it on sale at Price Choppers. I've decided that one day in the New Year, I want to have shrimp scampi at some point. My tempura shrimp is sitting patiently in the freezer waiting for one day in the New Year to be eaten. I got it cause Mike said he likes it.
So now I am cleaning out my room and I find a pamphlet (sp?) about teaching in Korea. Seeing this reminded me of David, who expressed an interest in teaching overseas. The salary is 1.800,000-2,300,000 Korean won monthly. I'm not sure what the conversion rate is at the moment, but I see that class sizes range from 6-10 students for what I undertand to be private school, or 20-40 students for public. More info at
www.cancox.com. Doesn't look like I'll be teaching any time soon so I'm throwing out the pamphlet, but I've included the website in case David or anyone else is interested.
Oh, when I was cleaning out the kitchen earlier, I found canola oil and used it. Afte using it, I did some reading up on canola oil in general. My understanding is it is not good for health. I am interested in hearing what anyone with some knowledge on this topic has to say. I found one article online in particular and I'm feeling grossed out. I think I should have read about it before using it. More to discuss on this topic in a future entry. Now I must get back to cleaning.
