It's time for the slow-down.
I'm actually really glad March is just on the doorstep. Looking at my work schedules I'm finding I'm getting a few more days off. Which is good! Don't get me wrong. It's good that I'm working. Even though the two jobs together somedays are just frustrating beyond belief. Just knowing it's all becoming sane is a great relief. Now, I can stock up on materials for the summer work on the house. By June, the one job dies right off. This will allow me to tackle the fun jobs of laying new floors upstairs, fence, and deck for this summer. Added bonus of being in the sun. Complete win/win!!
The snow is still around and seems to never stop dropping. Even if it might be just a fluffy dusting of the white stuff. Makes me sad I can't be popping up the greenhouse and getting the seeds going. I can't wait for the great smells of spring to arrive.
Lucked out on a great deal on some chocolate brown laminate flooring for the bedroom. Excellent price. Need to pick up more to continue along the upstairs hallway. Tuesday will pick up the Mika CD. So loving "Grace Kelly".
The weekend will be free to attend a birthday party. Always nice to get a chance to be social. Added bonus of spending some time with John! Completely win/ win!!!
So, for a dismal the snow might be right now I do have some great things planned when the weather gets better. Is it all that bad wanting the snow to disappear?? Maybe I'm just not a winter type of guy.
