I rented a new movie at the video store last night. The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari. It's a silent film, and one of the first horror movies created. I'm sure it will be...fantastic. No blood, but that's alright. I can go without gore for a night.

It's interesting to see just how much film genres have changed since then. I'm still looking for The man ( Read more... )

This was the first movie to feature the monster carrying off the beautiful girl in the nightgown that has become standard of old school movies.

Cliché, but not unappreciated.

It has been a long time since allowed myself the time to enjoy a movie. Perhaps I will rent a few titles. Do you have any suggestions?
