On paper this film sounds amazing. Still considered a magnum opus where David Cronenburg is concerned, James Woods and Deborah Harry star in a film using themes typical of a director who is up there with the likes of David Lynch for his exploration into the darker more sinister world of film making. Exploring the dark underbelly of voyeurism, the often sinister link between human influence and technology, and even a sprinkling of sado masochism. Really for its time it should be up there with the likes of "Tron" and "Bladerunner".
