I figured I'd put a post that's not really aimed towards being a 101 update on here, you know, since there are other things in my life happening (sometimes).
We got Kiya's new car seat today, and I realized that I get WAY too excited about stuff like that than I should. When Frank brought the huge box into the room I was all "YAY! It's her car seat. Let's spend 30 minutes adjusting it then wake her up so we can see if she fits in it!" And when I realized that Kiya could play in the box it came in, I got even more excited remembering when I used to do that when I was younger. Of course, we had to coax her into the box with "Teddy", but eventually she just sat in it cross legged and hid from us. I had to tell Frank he couldn't play in there with her. I think I burst his bubble.
The D&D character sheets Frank ordered came in today, so we're one step closer to having a collection (and being able to plan a campaign). The only thing holding us back now (obviously other than the items that haven't arrived) is the missing players. It's the two of us, just us (even though I'm sure Kiya would play if she could) with no one near us that actually plays. I just mentioned to him that it would kick ass if I could find people near here that played, and we agreed that I should look. There's nothing like finding fellow dorks, right?
On a different note, it's totally freaking snowing here. IN GEORGIA. It NEVER snows here... okay, so it snows here, but only for like a few minutes, then it melts, and becomes ice. But no, it's been snowing for HOURS and is sticking to the ground (and everything else). It's so pretty where we live, too, because it's pretty much considered country out here, with there being tons of fields and all nearby, so the landscape is BEAUTIFUL. That was a lot of capslock words ...
I think that's all I got for now.
