(no subject)
so, i feel as though i'm obligated to give an update on my life,
seeing as how i haven't written anything for awhile now.
a week ago i had a wonderful friend come visit. someone who makes
life seem a bit closer to the way God intended it to be.
friday night i went to quite the halloween party. it was good all around
and i was peter pan...a costume that somehow managed to come together on
its own. i feel like i had some sort of 80's twist on the pan and the
green tights were no joke. in addition, everyone from the jolly green giant
to turd ferguson to chas tenenbaum to a pregnant katie holmes represented.
after 2 1/2 hours of sleep, i woke up at 4:45am on saturday morning for a yearly
fundraiser we do for work. joy. saturday night i again hung out with good friends.
we did various things including watching "28 days later"...not to be confused with
"28 days" starring sandra bullock. and tell me, is that movie really sposed to be scary?
it was interesting...but scary? i dunno.
ooh, also...i'm excited about a cool opportunity i'm being given to do some writing.
i've been asked to help write a devotional book that will be published early this
next year. i'm humbled and thankful that i was chosen and that i'm being given an
opportunity to spend time with God's Word and to work on writing.
overall, and despite the busyness of my life, i'm thankful for the ways God's been
engaging my heart and surrounding me with good people. and...that is all. end update.
