(no subject)
today was a good day. i am greatly in need of those lately.
i slept in till 11...which was amazing.
then i talked to my friend, stephen, on the phone as i
simultaneously received a package from him which included
a mix cd and my very own Lomo LC-A! what a nice guy. :)
then! i went over to my real dad's house to attempt to fix
my car, once again...(come to find out, the new starter we
put in was bad too...and even worse!)...we didn't quite get
to the car, BUT...after telling him about my new camera,
he...who has no interest in photography at all...walks over
to the cupboard and pulls out a brown leather case which
houses my grandpa's old polaroid 640, which he then
gave me!! wow...given two cameras in one day!
new friends:
then, i spent the rest of the day babysitting mini-me and she
was a pure joy to be around. she's such a fun little
sidekick! anywho...my real dad and stepmom ended up giving
me $100 to watch her! totally unnecessary but SO
appreciated! i tried to refuse it, but they wouldn't have
it. i'm also borrowing his truck till tomorrow, when hopefully
my car will be fixed for good! (cross your fingers)
anyways...i'm thankful for the undeserved blessings i received
today. these days, i'm thankful for every day that ends with
a smile on my face. :)
