alright, friends.
it's been long enough. so, here you have it...
first of all, the crew:
ashley, tara, eden...
okay...so, here are the pictures of how horrible the room was BEFORE...
don't get sick to your stomach in shock and horror of how gross it was.
it wasn't my fault! i didn't put up the gross boxer-looking wallpaper.
i just did what i could to make the room mine...but...it was just far
too hideous.

when you walked in the room, you saw....ew:
then, you turned to your right and saw....lots of ew:
gag me...please look at the wallpaper! the people who lived here before us were so gross and dirty....
okay...now that i've made you all sick...here are the "DURING" pictures...
OKAY! enough of that! NOW, i must warn you...the finished product
looks FAR better in person. it's hard to capture it with the
right perspective in pictures. i love it, though...it's so much more
calm, and more importantly, so much more ME!

as you walk in, on your left, is my picture wall...i put brown fabric behind it.

ahead of you is the "office area" with my desk and my nifty wall and desk lights.
turn to your right, and up the stairs, is the "bedroom" part of the room.
i want to get a smaller, dark wood dresser to put under the window there so that i can get rid
of my big wicker dresser.
i got a screamin' deal on fabric at walmart and made the bedskirt, curtains,
closet curtain (to be seen later), annnd the headboard....
my biggest "fans"...(yeah, i'm a dork...so what?)
other half of the room...i want to buy a small antique bench to put
in that blank spot on the wall there, under the pictures.

my little vase guy that i put together:
pictures on the wall, including a quick fabric painting that i did, partially
inspired by miss krystina, and some beauteous pictures by the much-talented miss kelsey.
yay! that's all. must give huge shout-outs to ikea, cost plus,
michaels, wal-mart, lowes, and home depot. couldn't have done it
without you guys. the total cost would put trading spaces to shame!
