okay...i really need you guys to pray.
today was a hard day for me for a variety of reasons, but there's one thing that just...well...yeah...
i came home to celebrate my sister's 22nd birthday. we received a knock at the door. it was our neighbor's best friend...delivering some bad news. we have always been tight with the neighbors across the street. their daughter was my babysitter the whole time i was a kid (and adopted big sis), and their son (a few years older than me) was a childhood friend.
today...their son died in a car accident. he leaves behind a wife of about a year, and a 10 month old baby. we're all in shock. please pray for this family...here's a short history...
- their daughter's high school boyfriend committed suicide after she broke up with him
- their daughter finally meets a nice guy, gets married and pregnant, and finds out she has cancer...after quite a battle, she is now in remission (thank the Lord)
- their grandma died just a month ago
- today, their son died, and their daughter-in-law and grandchild are left alone
i can't even imagine all that their hearts have been through. please be in prayer for them. i just can't even imagine...and i can't believe he's gone. his name was Brian, and he was a great guy. we used to play nintendo together when we were young...he used to tell me that there was an extra level on super mario that only he could reach and when he got there it would say, "welcome to level 9, Brian!" .... :(
