alright so maybe i didn't update last night as i promised but i did put up a brand spankin new background (props to eyecatcher on flickr)
where do i begin
first off: thank you to everyone who made my birthday a spectacular day. i didn't get too many things but then again, i can't think of anything that i need. some of the things i did get include a couple suuuper cute bags from kel & neil, mandee, and claire. my sis and neilz also got me a neat tee shirt from the saturday market in portland and a pair of chopsticks. mandee and clarbar both got me tops as well (very cute) and jewelery, and made me awesome cards (on of which is posted below).
ok so back tracking a tad bit, the 4th of july was pretty fun too. yeager's + cooper river was nice and got to see a lot of good buds. for my bday (the dmvs have been closed all week in NJ because of budget problems if you hadn't known) SO me getting my license was a no go. just my luck but HOPEFULLY it will be open tomorrow so i can finally fly solo. that night my rents, myself, and my bro, went out to hibachi (mmm) and mandeeeeee and claireeee came over afterwards. we baked brownies, shook our rump in the basement, and watched the hills. it was a marvelous night.
TONIGHT ='d EDGEWOODSTOCK which was kick ass. there were so many kids there and some very good local music. i played tabourine for AALS and got to see some of my favorite people. went to rob's afterwards where he serenaded us and we played random card games. it was a very good night :)
