Holy shit my faith in new age horror movies is being renewed.
After all the stupid/lame as fuck horror movies, people have been coming out with since scream, there was only a few to strike my fancy.
Slowly but Surely hollywood is making me happy once again.
Since Scream it seemed like horror movies went down hill. Only recently have they started to get better. Jeepers Creepers, 13 Ghosts, The Ring, and Darkness Falls...all very entertaining but none have really caught my attion like my 80's and early 90's favs. until now.
Wrong Turn blew me away by bringing by the physco canibal redneck theme, which will always be fun until the end of time. That movie deserved way more than it got.
Now with the Newest flic for me, 28 days later, is bringing the scale back up on horror. This movie is the best all around horror flic i've seen in a while. As a matter of fact i would gladly put it up against some of my favs.
Heres the deal im asking you. If you havent seen Wrong Turn, and its still in theaters go see it, but if your gonna see one horror flic this summer see Jason vs Freddy, but if your gonna see 2 go see 28days later right now mother fucks. Shit i will even pay for your ticket in.
