yeah i got one of those back in the day. they dont really follow up on it. its just used to scare you and your parents. i cut everyday for like six months after that and didnt hear anything from them. i highly doubt they actually sue the parents or anything like that. they just want to piss them off with a letter so they'll beat you into submition, which in your case is entirely possible. so good luck. and always remember...

yeah in texas if you have 7 unexcused absents, you have to go to truency court. fuck. i wish i still went to a school where they didn't give a shit.

yeah i also changed the phone number listed with the school so they wouldn't call anymore. worked wonderfully. actually christine... you should try that. and maybe your adress too. tell them you moved down the street which changes your phone number too. they'll buy it because youre still in the same district. just say you wanted to get that changed so you'd get your reports to your new adress. i meen, you are very studious and absolutely must show your parents your grades as soon as possible, right?
