Meet "Hild".

Though she's a 2008, she's brand new and had 125 miles on the odometer when I took her home. Fully loaded with spoiler, sunroof, and the Limited Slip Differential. List price was $25k, I got her for $16k AFTER taxes and fees. Black wasn't the color I wanted, but at that price I could've been talked into polka dots. I guarantee that my pen on the dotted line was faster than even the most souped up Cobalt.

The dealer told a good story about why she'd gone unsold for so long, too.

"Yeah its brand new it has like 125 miles and that's from test drives, car shows we have attended w/cars on display. I personally have written up a deal in easily 12 times but it didn't sell because the age group that this car appeals to doesn't have any or enough credit to get a loan from any bank and if they could get a cosigner they didn't have strong enough to cosign for a 19 year old wanting a 25k dollar loan for 6 years. That is why I call it the curse of the Cobalt....lol"

Considering her color, the Saab lineage of her powertrain design, and the curse she put on her dealership stewards, I figured "Hild" was an appropriate name for her. :)
