lifeinreverie because without her, this story would be absolutely terrible. While I had the idea for the fic, when I wrote it out it was terrible. She helped me turn it into something that is actually worth the time to read. I owe her everything in this story.

“I don’t really see how we have a choice,” Gerard shrugged, looking across the table. “People have been wanting this for a long time now and even if I don’t like the idea, well…”
“We don’t have to do anything that we don’t want to!” Frank shouted back, slamming his fists on the table and causing everyone to jump. He sat back down, looking around at the shocked faces surrounding him. He had to remember, they were at a meeting. They were supposed to behave like well trained monkeys, willing to do whatever the people wearing the suits asked them to. “I just don’t think it’s right.”
“I think Gerard is right,” Bob said after being silent the whole meeting, “People want to know more about us and they aren’t going to let up until they are satisfied. This way we would be able to let them see everything that they want, but on our terms.”
Gerard looked around again. They were all there to discuss a possible mini-series in which a camera crew would videotape their every moment for two weeks. The group that had wanted to do the recording saw it as a great opportunity to help not only themselves, but to give the fans of My Chemical Romance the sort of closeness they desired. Everyone in the band saw it as a major attack on their privacy.
“I think we need to talk it over for a little bit, this is a big decision,” Ray grinned, trying not to look threatening. He stood up and pulled on the edges of Mikey’s shirt and Frank’s jacket. Everyone in the band made a quick retreat into a separate room.
“I really don’t think that this is a good idea,” Frank said the moment the door closed.
“People want to know everything about us,” Gerard came back quickly, “Bob is right, this will let them feel closer and they won’t press us for information as much.”
“No! You are simply feeding an addiction!” Frank shouted back, “You give them this much, they will want more! You let them see what our life is like for two weeks, they will want to know what it is like for two years. Even if we gave them two years, they will want to see the bits and pieces that were edited out.”
Gerard sighed, moving closer to Frank and reaching out to hold his hand, trying to calm his lover down.
“Don’t forget, there are some, shall we say, details that we don’t want people to know about.” Ray muttered, eyeing their hands. While the pair was very open with their relationship around people who knew, they were very adamant on letting the populous of the world know what was going on in their bedroom.
It was at least an hour before the band came out of the room and met with the company that wanted to film them. They filed into their seats, all of them looking strained. There had been shouting, but no one had been able to tell who it was or what they were saying.
“Well?” The network executive leaned in, looking ready to pounce on them for an answer.
“We’ll do it.” Gerard muttered.
