Author's Notes: Thank you to basically everyone who's commented on this, because truly, I never thought so many people would like this. <333 As for a new story, I have barely started on one, but I have two standalones written that will be posted during the week, most likely. But, I could always use new ideas for a story, so feel free to suggest some, because I'm willing to try almost anything.

SUNDAY 11:41 P.M.
Ryan moved damp hair out of his face, ducking under a tree in someone’s front yard to protect him from the rain. He settled himself against the trunk, pulling the photographs out of his jacket pocket. He shifted through them until he reached the one of
him and Brendon at the Christmas party. “Ryan, let’s go find Spencer and Jon!” Brendon said with a grin, tugging on his arm. Ryan chuckled, letting Brendon lead him away from their car and into the hotel that was hosting the Christmas party.
“Bren, how come Smoothie Hut is having a party?” Ryan asked, slowing Brendon’s pace by resting his arm around his waist.
Brendon shrugged, leaning into Ryan’s touch. “Because they can! And I got to bring three guests, which is why you and Spencer and Jon are coming with me!”
“Oh, okay.” Ryan laughed, nodding his head. “At least we both get to look extremely sexy and make everybody else jealous.”
“Totally! Dude, I think you look way sexier than me, though.”
Ryan shook his head with a laugh, holding the door open for Brendon so he could go in first. “If I’m sexier than you, then maybe I should leave you and find someone just as sexy as me to have hardcore sex with.”
“No! You’re my RyRo,” Brendon whined, wrapping his arms tightly around Ryan. “If you leave me, I’ll be oh so sad and die!”
Ryan kissed Brendon quickly. “Don’t die! I love you too much.”
“Gross, you guys are way weird!”
The boy turned, grinning upon seeing Spencer and Jon standing there, their fingers laced together.
“Oh, don’t be jealous just because I have the sexiest man alive right next to me, Jon,” Brendon teased, placing a playful smack on Ryan’s ass.
“Ow, Bren, save it for the bedroom!”
Spencer laughed, shaking his head. “For the bedroom? Gosh, Jon and I are only saving it for the bathroom. Waiting two whole hours is way too long for me.”
“Horny bastard,” Jon said, smirking.
“So what? You’re sexy,” Spencer said, pressing a quick kiss to Jon’s neck.
“And you’re a wanker.”
Ryan chuckled, looking over their two friends. “Jon, you couldn’t even go to a party without wearing your flip flops?”
Jon wiggled his toes, grinning up at Ryan. “Yeah, I just love the freedom!”
“Dude, you’re crazy,” Brendon piped in, clinging to Ryan. “This is like... a fancy, classy party! And you’re wearing flip flops!”
“Spencer let me, so ha.”
“All right guys, c’mon. Let’s just get in there and try to seem… normal, all right?” Spencer said, clapping his hands together.
“Spencer,” Ryan started, grinning. “You obviously don’t know what normal is.”
Ryan blinked, frowning down at the picture. He realized that he could remember in detail the events of that night, especially when Brendon had dragged him into his apartment, throwing him against the wall and attacking his lips. He could practically feel his clothes being stripped off, warm hands touching his bare skin.
He shifted, shaking his head to get rid of those thoughts. He couldn’t’ believe that he actually was remembering something that had Brendon in it before they had met again. A smile began to pull at the corner of Ryan’s lips, and he let his eyes fall shut, sighing softly.
Ryan let out a quiet sob, curling into a small ball in the corner of his room. He shook his head, not wanting to believe it. To believe anything.
“Ryan? Spencer told me what happened.”
He looked up, seeing Brendon running towards him, dropping to his knees beside him. Immediately he curled into Brendon’s touch, burying his face into the male’s chest.
“H-he’s gone, Bren, what am I going to do?”
“Ssh,” Brendon whispered, holding him tightly. “You’re going to move on with life, okay? You can go on, you don’t need him.”
“B-but I l-loved him,” Ryan mumbled, starting to sob again.
“I know you did, baby. But you can’t rest on the past anymore. He’s gone now.”
Ryan nodded. “I’ll miss him, Bren. He cared about me. He didn’t always act like it, but I know he did. He never even hit me.”
“I know. But, Ry… He’s gone. C’mon. It’s been three days. You need to eat.” Brendon started to stand up, pulling Ryan with him. When he wouldn’t stand by himself, Brendon simply picked him up bridal-style, carrying him out of the teenaged room.
“I love you, Bren.”
“I love you too, Ry.”
Ryan sniffled, blinking his eyes open. Out of all of the memories that he could remember as well, it had to be a sad one. Wonderful. He sighed, looking through each of the pictures again, a flicker of hope inside of him that he could remember what had happened when the picture was taken.
Unfortunately, nothing more came to him, and he let out a groan. All he wanted to do was remember everything, to remember Brendon.
“RYAN!”
He looked up, quickly shoving the photos back into his jacket. Ryan leapt to his feet, coming out from the shelter of the tree. As the rain started to beat down on his head, he could see Brendon running towards him, looking rather ridiculous by the way he was waving his arms frantically.
“Geeze, Ryan, you run fast!”
“I wasn’t running,” Ryan said as Brendon stopped in front of him, panting heavily.
“Oh, well… I’m just slow.”
“That’s okay,” Ryan said with a smile, nodding his head. “Uhm.. Spencer.. he said that you weren’t lying. That it’s all true.”
“Yup.”
“Yeah, he showed me pictures. And… I can kind of remember some things. Like… When my dad died. You were there to help me. And then… one where we were at a Christmas party. With Spencer and Jon.”
“You remembered?”
Ryan nodded his head, and Brendon pulled him into a wet hug, squeezing him. “That’s so great, Ry. I’m just glad that you finally figured out the truth.”
“I hate Spencer, though. He lied to me.”
“Don’t hate him, Ry,” Brendon said, kissing his cheek. “I lied to you too. I never told you about anything, and… yeah. Don’t hate him. He was just worried about you.”
Ryan sighed, nodding his head. He leaned against Brendon, shutting his eyes.
“You know, you’re a hard guy to catch. I feel like I’ve been chasing after you forever.”
Ryan smiled, his gaze meeting Brendon’s. “You would’ve been better off catching the rain.”
“But, I don’t love the rain as much as I love you.”
“It’s probably easier to catch though.”
“That’s okay, I’ll go the extra mile for you.”
“I love you.”
“I love you too, Ryan.”
They both smiled, their lips meeting in a kiss, neither of them caring that they were standing on the sidewalk on some street in Las Vegas, rain pouring down on them.
