Alicia went for a walk today and took some pictures of Kiwanis Memorial Park and University Bridge and the like.
Check out my lovely city everyone! If any of you manage to come to Canada (or live here already), don't breeze by Saskatoon. It's a beautiful city.
I LOVE this city.
...it's actually like...a top 5 city for me. I adore it that much.
So here is some shots and whatever. Haha.
Here are a few shots of me while I was updating Izzie the iPod before I went out on my walk.
My desk area. Look at Izzie. Isn't she prettyful? And you can see a bit of Toshy, the Toshiba Laptop. And my HP doesn't have a name yet though... But ya...it's there too. And my drawer of office crap.
I haven't made a paperclip bracelet in FOREVER! This is one thing I did while I was...waiting for Izzie.
My iTunes. I was listening to "Norther Towns" by Attack In Black. It's a pretty sweet Canadian band. Give'em a search on YouTube or MySpace or PureVolume. Awesome tunes.
Check out the thunder down under. Haha...ya, that's me talkin' about the thunder thighs. Whatever, they fit my body type, so it's all good. And my toes and ya. Plus, you can kinda see what I was wearing. I really like these capris though; dark denim and lovely pockets. You can also see my slippers (Roxy & Jack Skellington) and my nightstand that I am using as a shelf.
Whose a dork? I AM!!! Haha. Isn't that a lovely sight? I look like I've been drinking...
I actually really like this picture. I might make it the ol' profile picture on Facebook...hmmm...maybe. But I do enjoy this one.
Now I'm out an about. This was taken in the front yard, right by the front step (that we never actually use). That green shit is grown over EVERYTHING. I don't mind it though.
My lovely home. I adore the fact I have a yard. I gotta be mowing the lawn though. I'm planning to do it tomorrow after job training tomorrow.
A kind of "modern" home on the corner. i like it though. Figured I'd show you guys that.
Walking down College Drive. Check out the 70 bus rolling up the stop.
This is "Bottomley House"; it's actually a a counselling place. But I really love this house. I wish it was like...for sale...cause I'd take out a massive loan to have it.
The old gates by St. Andrew's College at the University of Saskatchewan. I like them...I like the old style of them.
Walking across the bridge. I loved this girl's dog. He was so beautiful!!! I miss mine again...
Isn't it beautiful? Absolutely gorgeous! The day was nice too, so I was happy I took my camera along for the walk.
The view of University Bridge from Spadina. Heart it. Bit of traffic though, mainly because it was like 3:00.
Little nook that I found in Kiwanis Memorial Park.
Some condos in the background and a bit of the park.
View down to the WWII Memorial Fountain. I think this is
The Bes. It's the Delta in town. I love it. My sister and I used to call it Hogwarts all the time. We're dorks.
Love this bus. Sells foot-long hot dogs. Heart it. Plus they have some really mean fries.
Entrance to Kiwanis park...well, one of the entrances. The other side of the Bes actually.
Other side of the park; Broadway Bridge. Haha. I didn't make it to Old Bridge...cause it's far away, haha.
The Vimy Memorial Band Stand, erected after the battle in Vimy. I went to Vimy, etc. So I thought this was really cool.
Just sitting on the bench. Took a snapshot.
Background of the Bes. I thought it was pretty sweet.
WWII fountain. I think it's pretty. I sat there for a bit too. Just...vegged. It was nice.
Last photo of the lot; a wild rose I think. It's prettyful I really like it.
