holiday update
Hey all - status report. Hope you've all been having a great holiday season. I've been busy out the arse. Not only have there been insane amounts of family get togethers, but we had a freak storm the day after Christmas. A severe streamline wind came through the state and hit my neighborhood. Our block got hit BAD. 80 mph winds. Basically a tornado without the tornado. We had a great big tree fall down across the road as well as our fence being blown over. We had some minor repairs to do elsewhere. We were pretty lucky though. Some of our neighbors had total fence loss, roof damage, and more severe property damage. I've never experienced anything like it! Anyways. we got the fence back up now, and the tree has been cut down and hauled away.
Now I have to get ready cause new years eve is hosted at my house! We bought a breathalyzer. Isn't that smart? Everyone has to put their keys in a basket and can't get them back without passing the breathalyzer. Anyways...lots of cleaning and cooking await! *runs off to clean*
