today was spectacular. i woke up and went & hung out at the mall with joaquin and his mom & sister. we went to ruby tuesdays to eat & then hung out at his house all day. it was so much fun! his family is so incredibly awesome. seriously.
so at like 6:00 i left & went to the eyrw/gladstone/hanlon show but i left early. eyrw did really good & im sure the other bands did too. of course. too bad rosemary reach was first, that was valuable time i could have been hearing an actual good band. they did a flippin' chingy cover. come on yall. plus the lead singer just moaned the whole time. whatevaaaaa, at least they played cold after the band went off. and at least i got to see lance! always a joy.
i left early because i wanted to see joaquin again before he left. lots of cool people were over there to watch the VMAs. always an AWESOME crowd! hehe nothing like reuniting with elementary school friends. awesome times. and more to come! but i cant believe joaquin is leaving for the whole daggum summer! it makes me sad. but im glad too because i know he will have a magnifique time there with his family. family is always a blast. and i am NOT being sarcastic. he burned my deathcab cd, though. so i know he cant forget about me! because he, too will get addicted to that cd.
speaking of family, my daddy comes home from his saltwater fishing trip in costa rica tomorrow! woohaaaa! i miss him like WHOA. its weird, he has been gone since monday and hasnt called once. and we called him but he didnt call back. it was weird, it felt like my mom was a single parent this week. but! back to normal tomorrow night! :) the only downfall is i cant drive his bigrig anymore once he gets back. the agony. no, seriously. i love that tank.
