I look in the mirror, and all i see, is a silly girl...with nothing but a dream

My dance teacher Ms. Olivia was having dinner with Savion Glover's mother and was told this story

Savion Glover is one of the best tap dancers of all time. Even when he was younger he was already a great talent. There was a broadway show that he auditioned for when he was 7 called "Tap Kids" and he was choosen out of thousands of people. When his mother went to sign the contract the people running the show said to her

"Your son from here on out is ours. He will no longer have time to go out and play, or ride his bike, or do acro. It's the sad truth but he is now in show business, and he won't have time for anything else."

Mrs. Glover smiled and said, "Thankyou for your time, but I can't do this, my child is still a boy, and I'm not taking that from him."

When she turned to leave the men stopped her and said, "Forget the rules, we want him in the show."

Savion Glover got very lucky. Usually in situations like this you are forced to make hard desicions.

right now my friends and I are torn between dance teams and the play. I feel the pressure building, and i hope that in the end all that I'm working for, will make me happy.

Where have all the easy going, good times escaped to? The life that was stress free, and very enjoyable at almost all times?
