(no subject)
so this weekend was fucked up.
I was supposed to go see David Bazan on Saturday with Daniel and Elyse but that didn't happen. Partly because I had to pay for Elyse to go with me if I didn't want to go alone and then drive home. Oh and also leave the FJV Mass/Dinner early when we were the guests of honor. So when I got the phone call Saturday morning saying, "I'm on a flight to Florida, something happened with my Dad" I just didn't care and decided to grace the Pour House with our presence.
I didn't even know what bands were playing ..I was there to drink. Turns out some decent bands were there. Jil Station, A Rooster for the Masses and Bain Mattox. I wanted to meet the band members, so I did. I first met the lead singer from Jil Station, Kyle and I thought he was the most cocky guy I have ever met! I would assume he's all of 19 or 20 ...he has sad eyes and a contagious smile. I'm pretty sure he was flirting the entire night. Too bad he had no chance.
Then the lead singer from Rooster, Adam was also extremely cocky! I just didn't know what to do. He was like, "why are your eyes so blue and your checks so red? You are a devil temptress."
Hahahaha oh and he was married too but apparently liked to see how light his wedding band felt. I just remember them both competing for my attention, which was out of the blue! I was just busy sipping my LI's and minding my own business. I had such a great time though and overall I do recommend that everyone listen to:
