some should probably pinch me because
1) i never have to (pretty much) talk to my mother again
2) i just got a HUNDRED AND FUCKING FIVE on my calc test. booya.
3) i ahve the house to myself on a friday night to do what ever the fuck i want.
4) i have the best friends a girl could ever ask for (yes- i'm talking to you! all of you!)
5) i'm sick but it's not bothering me in the least becuase i just wrote the most amazing thing i have in a very long time :
continuation of the circus stuff: slightly:
the circus theme played in his head.
'dat da dahdadahda a-dat da dahdah'
the song was constantly playing, and usually he didn't know why. whether it was in his head, or in the back beat of a song, or even ryan.
of course there was ryan. he constantly hummed the repetitive song; usually he was unconscious of it until he met brendon's eyes in which case he ceased immediately.
if it wa a good day, and the memories were fond ones, then ryan would sing the song aloud.
if it was a bad day, and if the memories were bad, then ryan quit instantaneously. sometimes he apologized meekly, too.
if it was a day where brendon didn't remember (which was usually the case) ryan would try to shrug it off with out showing any emotion of it to brendon.
these were the days that broke ryan's heart the most.
the good days hurt becuase brendon rarely had them, but it was an escape for him when they did come around.
the bad days were gloomy, but they gave ryan a glimpse of hope because at least brendon remembered something.
but the days where brendon remembered nothing at all- not one thinga bout the people, or the places, himself, or even of him and ryan- those were the days that ryan hated. those were the days ryan had to put on a happy face to cover all the hurt he was feeling. all the hurt that brendon would never know about because he couldn't remember.
these were the days that reminded ryan of how much he would never forget about any of it.
