all in all a good day =) a bunch of nothingness this morning and then the Ho Ho experience came at 4:30. i went and met the other people and crap started like right away. basically, i take orders, scream them out, staple boxes, fry eggrolls, bag food and run the cash register & the phone. but that other guys there... & he does the same. they're real nice =) Kamil & Alex. yeahhh, watched some Simpsons & football. the old guy, Wilson (like my fish), has a coke nail. lmao. 3 & a half - four hours everyday ought to = some nice cash. once i rack up a full hundo, i'm getting a debit card. so i don't have to carry cash and stuff like that. so yeah, i think i like my job & since i catch on pretty fast, it should be easy. the one guy sat on the pineapple chunk boxes and pretended to play the drums. the old guy gambles. yeahh, i'll fit in well. i went into the "bathroom". there's a hose hanging in there that the toilet paper sits on. and they stack the rest of it along with some paper towels on the floor. there's a ladder in there and no soap? the lid was up and there was piss everywhere... yeahhh. special. i never realized how dirty the food business was and like... how many people touch your food before you even put it in your mouth. but yeah, i like it... nice people, easy job, a guy who cusses like a sailor, free food all the time ["are you sure you're not hungry? i'll make you something, anything you want, it'll only take me a couple seconds. are you sure?"], endless supply of almond cookies, a little chinese guy with a gambling complex and a coke nail, another asian who talks like he's a west coast surfer, and a cash register to amuse myself with. i made 79 cents in tips today, lmao. so in a few days i suppose i get to answer the phone... lol. everything else = good. i'm content with life right now. boy, job, friends, yeahhh. school soon, i can't wait.
