I don't really want to make writing in here a habit (again) but...

I ended my swimming career. After 8 years of competitive swimming, it's come to an end. I feel it's for the best. Time to move on to something bigger and better (hopefully). Now I can focus on grades and acctually putting a little bit of effort into my work, as opposed to just getting things done. With any luck my B's will all turn into A's.

Anyways, now I guess I finally get to enjoy college as a student, not at student-athlete.
Now I'll get to make trips and be with people I like.

Now, to find another source of income...
I like a challenge.

I have a head full of garble, which I won't even try to put into words.
I also have a head full of sickness, I'm overdosing on Vitamin C, hoping it goes away.
People ask how I'm doing... usually I try to come up with the most inventive anwser I can.
Wonderful! Peachy! etc... something people don't usually say.
Today all I could say was "Okay, I guess."
In fact, that's what I am.
Okay.
I am not terrible, I am not good. Somewhere inbetween.
I am not content though, things could be better.
I should probably be grateful things are not terrible.

I am lonely, although I suppose it will just make me a stronger person.

Goodnight and take care of yourselves,

Melissa

What you gonna do?
I don't know, my friend
But I'm open to suggestion if you'll proffer two cents
Give me something I can hang my coat on, yeah!

Nine times out of ten
I'm not the guidance type
I've been sitting on a fencepost for the brunt of my life
And now I need some help to find out what I feel, it kills

It kills the time
Until you fill your heart, you'll see
There's more to you than what you think and need

Where you gonna go?
I don't know, my friend
But I'll take this road forever or until it does end
Here or there or someplace else, man, anywhere!

Maybe to the west
Where they don't fall down
In a canyon of a valley in a twenty-horse town
A voluntary rest home where they lecture you, it kills

It kills the time
Until you fill your heart, you'll see
there's more to you than what you think and need

We can share our bland opinions
About the quality of air
and all will be right
All will be right on top

There's a place in old dominion
Near that courthouse by the square
Where all will be right
All will be right on top of the day
