School sucks. Who knew you needed to buy books to pass courses? Wtf. So far my test grades are 43 and 46. Lovely. I'm only taking 4 classes this semester, too, so i can't drop any. Booooooooooooooooo. It's beginning to look like like junior year all over again. :(
I just wrote a really stupid paragraph about last week and then deleted it. Basically, I went to see Sufjan Stevens and Architecture in Helsinki and they were both awesome. I also went to this benefit concert for Music for Tomorrow that my mom had VIP tickets to. She got this invitation to the "Private Reception with Jude Law" so we went to that and talked to Mr. Law for a while. My mom told him about me selling him tickets to the zoo and he laughed. He said that he went a bunch of times because his kids love it. He was like, "Yes, they don't call it New Orleans, they call it THE New Orleans. In fact, i was talking to them the other day and they were like 'Daddy, are you in THE New Orleans?'" Cute. He was really nice and let us get a picture. He even wished Josh's sister a happy birthday over the phone. Patricia Clarkson and James Gandolfini were there too, but they don't matter.
My birthday was kinda weird/awesome. My brother came over to go refridgerator shopping with my dad (?) and totally did not remember that it was my 18th b-day. Lame. But, we ended up talking a bunch. I don't think we've ever talked that much. It was really surprising to me how much i don't know about him. I wish we could have more talks like that.
My grandmaw spelled my name wrong on my birthday card. :/ It's ok, though, because she's awesome. I felt so bad because she gave me a check for $25 and was like "I wish it was more, boo." I wanted to be like "Ummmmm this buys me like 100 Taco Bell meals. This is MORE than enoughhhh."
I think this is probably the last post i'll make in this journal. I need a change.
I broke down and bought Future Sex/Love Sounds. I'm bringing sexy back, mmkay?
