i took about three Tylenol w codeine after lying still and coughing for two hours.

then slept for maybe an hour.

until I jumped awake.

terrified.

i had a nightmare last night.

i woke up trembling.

sobbing.

I didn't want to be awake.

reality had to be worse than the dream.

but. i couldn't fall back asleep.

so i stayed awake.

trembling sobbing.

and alone.

i had a a good night.

lovely even.

full of happy events. kind words.

dreams and wishes.

except... their context and purpose broke my heart.

day 4.

i should hate you for this.
