i was raised to believe that you should never trust anyone completely. and in the end, betrayal is inevitable. i was taught to only rely on myself because everything else falls though.
if it's human to err, aren't we unrealistic in believing in perfection?
i tell myself there's people i completely trust with my guts, but i can't help but listen to the nagging voice in the bag of my head that tells me not to be naive and that life is suffering and pain caused by others is a right of passage and anything else is wishful thinking.
