I Met My Shmeggles!
Side Note: Yes this blog is like a week late but I wanted to give a proper post so dun h8.
Guess who finally met the beautiful, awesome, wonderful Shmeggles?!
MEEEE!
Okay so this update is SO friggin late and Im sorry about that but like Shmegan, I forgot SO much in the car on the way home cause I was so desperate to hold onto it all that my mind went to poo.
BUT anyway, Mike and I headed to Atlantic City around 1130am or so, getting there around 1pm due to the WONDERFUL traffic. We met up with Shmeggles in the mall of the Tropicana casino, also meeting her grandmother and cousin. I was SO excited when I saw her, I think I may have squeezed the air right out of her cause I almost refused to let go lol.
So we then headed towards the Showboat by foot (BAD idea btw when your hungry. Although it wasnt as smart either heading back cause we were stuffed beyond belief), because I wanted them both to eat at this buffet that they have there that is AMAZING. If you are ever in Atlantic City, go to the Showboat and eat at the French Quarter Buffet. (BTW, is "buffet" spelled with ONE "T" or TWO? I swear Im spelling retarded tonight) Its a little pricey but omg soooo worth it. Food from like ALL over the world - mmm good stuff. Dammit I think I wanna go back now :(
ANYWAY - after lunch, we started walking around the boardwalk, stopping at random stores and places, when we came across one of their "fair" seconds with games and little rides and all. So we stop at this basketball game cause I see this adorable stuffed husky that I was on a mission to win but then Shmegan decided to take over and we ended up blowing $60, or $80 I think with our combined totals lol. I SWEAR this woman TOTALLY took our "wanting a big stuffed husky" naiveness for granted. She was all, "okay for free, Ill give you 4 balls. These are $10..." "Okay now you locked in the prize, shoot this for free....you are now at $20." "Okay get this in and you get your prize....these are on the house. You owe $40." I was like, "WTF IS HAPPENING?!" She was a thief. A THIEF. But somehow, Shmegan won the husky for me :) Its name is Shmeggles and its next to my side of the bed in our room :D
Then we came across go-karts! You know that was a must :) Well it was wonderful until some asshole tried to cut me off, hit the side of me, I did a full spin and some pre-pubescent toddler slammed into the front of my kart, knocking my glasses off my face. I swear I thought I broke my front tooth, thats how hard he hit me. WHY was this kid even driving one? I mean I seriously believe you should be banned from go-kart fun till you are like 16. Fucking kid. Could have kart killed me.
ANYWAY. Then it got even better cause while ON the karts, it started storming like hardcore. Rain started pouring, I couldnt see SHIT cause my glasses were getting rain all over them, and then lightening and thunder started striking so they made us park the karts and get out cause they were like RIGHT on the water which obviously is totally safe *rolls eyes*. Shmegan and I were SOAKED beyond belief, I swear my jeans felt like 20lbs heavier after getting caught in the torrential (sp?) downpour.
Then this is where I start kind of blanking out on things lol. I know we went into a candy store and I spent almost $20 on candy, that I still have by the way. Then there was a smoothie, some cloves, a Shmegan quick change, the proposal, pictures with Shmeggles the Husky, a Michael cheek lick, a LOT of fondling from everyone, and a really sad goodbye :(
I already miss my Shmeggles :( Thankfully though she is making plans to come back out early next year for a little while so we can totally spend more time together. A day wasnt enough and I feel robbed of time lol. AND she is coming back hopefully for the wedding in October! So excited!
